High-pressure grinding mills solve the problem of iron ore crushing and grinding
In my country, iron ore has long been used in various fields. With the increasing market demand for iron ore, the equipment for processing iron ore has also undergone tremendous changes. Iron ore, as a primary raw material in metallurgy, has very high requirements. Generally, iron ore requires primary coarse crushing with a jaw crusher, followed by secondary crushing with a cone crusher, then screening. Ore that doesn’t meet the particle size requirements undergoes further fine crushing, and finally, it is ground by a grinding mill to produce the required iron ore raw material. Grinding mills used in applications include large-scale equipment such as high-pressure grinding mills, trapezoidal grinding mills, and vertical roller mills. Different grinding mills can be selected and equipped according to different requirements.

Our high-pressure grinding mill is an ultrafine grinding device supported by new crushing theories. It adopts the high-pressure material layer crushing theory, achieving high energy utilization through significant secondary crushing. The feed to the high-pressure mill enters between two counter-rotating rollers. The two rollers are pushed together by strong lateral hydraulic pressure, and the material is continuously pressed into a material layer and crushed within the adjustable roller gap. The crushing force acts on all particles of the feed. The main characteristics of bed crushing are: high crushing pressure and high fine particle content in the crushed product; cracks are generated inside the feed particles, thereby increasing the degree of ore liberation, which reduces power consumption or increases output in subsequent grinding operations.
By screening and statistically analyzing the materials before and after crushing, and by analyzing the performance of the high-pressure grinding mill, it was further confirmed that the high-pressure grinding mill not only has an ideal crushing and grinding effect in iron ore crushing, but also significantly improves production efficiency, reduces energy consumption and steel consumption, and solves key technical and equipment problems in the mining beneficiation grinding process.
