Working principle and characteristics of PCH ring hammer crusher

I. Working Principle of Ring Hammer Crusher
This equipment utilizes the impact of high-speed rotating hammers for crushing. When the rotor rotates at high speed, the hammers radiate due to centrifugal force. When material is fed into the crushing chamber from the top, it is struck by the high-speed hammers and thrown against the crushing plates on the inner wall of the machine. After being further crushed by impact on the crushing plates, the material falls onto the lower grate bars. Fine particles smaller than the grate gaps are discharged through the gaps. The material on the grate bars continues to be struck, squeezed, or ground by the hammers until it all passes through the grate bars. This equipment effectively ensures the crushing effect of ore materials.
II. Features and Applications

The advantages of a ring hammer crusher include simple structure, compact mechanism, large production capacity, large crushing ratio, and low power consumption, effectively reducing investment costs. However, due to the high workload, the grate bars wear out quickly and require frequent inspection or replacement.
Ring hammer crushers are commonly used in coal sorting operations for medium and fine crushing. They are also widely used for crushing brittle materials. This equipment can crush coal to below 13-3mm while ensuring that excessively large particles are not mixed into the product.
