What are the types of mobile crushing machines?

Mobile crushers are divided into two types according to their drive method: tracked and wheeled. The mobile crushing machine we’ll discuss today is the truck-mounted mobile crushing machine. It can be mounted on a truck and moved like a car, easily reaching various sites for crushing. Furthermore, its main unit is flexible, with each type having its own characteristics to meet the actual production needs of different users. Based on the user’s desired finished particle size, they can be roughly divided into the following types:

Coarse Crushing Machines

Coarse crushing mobile crushing machines are actually jaw crushers. They are typically used as primary crushing machines. Their main advantage is their large feed opening, capable of processing larger stones up to 1500mm into gravel of about 50mm.

Medium Crushing Machines

Mobile medium crushing machines typically refer to cone crushers and impact crushers. While both are medium crushing machines, they have distinct specializations based on their performance advantages. For example, if the user is processing hard stone, the former should be chosen, and vice versa. Additionally, a special type of medium crushing equipment, the hammer crusher, is introduced. It produces excellent particle shape in a single operation, unlike the previous two types which are more well-known secondary crushers requiring additional primary crushing equipment. The hammer crusher is self-contained and can complete the crushing task independently.

Fine Crushing Machines

There are two types of fine crushers: one is a mobile impact crusher, also known as a mobile sand making machine, and the other is a mobile fine crusher. Both can crush stones into construction sand with a particle size of less than 10 mm.
