Solving the problem of material blockage in jaw crushers
Jaw crushers are prone to material blockage during production. As a high-output crushing machine with a large feed opening, improper operation can easily lead to blockage. In order to comply with the production principles of high efficiency and low energy consumption, we conducted in-depth research and analysis on the production site to investigate the causes of material blockage in jaw crushers.

I. During the crushing process, slow material discharge or blockage at the discharge port can obstruct material flow from the jaw crusher. This results in a large amount of material clogging the crushing chamber, forcing the crusher to stop.
II. The crusher relies on a V-belt to transmit power to the rollers for crushing the stone. When the V-belt becomes loose, it rotates with the rollers instead of driving them. A large amount of material remains uncrushed in the crushing chamber, clogging it and preventing discharge.
III. The eccentric shaft of the jaw crusher is a crucial component of the crushing chamber. It requires continuous rotation to function. However, if the eccentric shaft’s retaining bushing becomes loose, the eccentric shaft can jam, preventing further rotation and halting the crusher’s operation.

IV. The crusher motor requires a certain voltage to operate normally. If the voltage is too low, even if the motor can rotate, the power it generates will be insufficient to crush the stones in the crushing chamber. This will result in a large amount of stone clogging the crushing chamber, affecting production.
V. When the main bearing of a jaw crusher is damaged, the crushing components will malfunction, causing a large amount of uncrushable material to remain trapped in the crushing chamber, leading to blockage.
Knowing these causes of material blockage in crushers, and through scientific analysis, targeted repair measures can be taken.
