Dryer support roller adjustment steps
The dryer support rollers can be adjusted by following these steps:

1. Check: Observe if the tire and support roller position is maintained in the center position; check the force on the guide rollers and the dryer rotation.
2. Adjustment: The support rollers must be adjusted according to the drum’s rotation direction. Adjust the centerline of the support rollers by tilting them in a specific direction to form a slight angle with the drum’s centerline (generally no more than 0.5° to prevent deformation). This creates a spiral upward thrust that balances the drum’s up-and-down movement, allowing it to operate in a stable position, i.e., with the tire moving freely between the upper and lower guide rollers.
The adjustment steps are as follows: When the dryer moves downward, tighten the adjusting bolt one full turn and then loosen it completely one turn (make sure the number of turns tightened and loosened is equal). The dryer will stop moving downward. If it moves upward, add liquid lubricant to the support rollers. The dryer will stop moving upward. If it continues to move upward, tighten bolt 1 and loosen bolt 2. The dryer will stop moving upward. If it moves downward again, clean the lubricant off the support rollers. If necessary, repeat the above method until it stops. During the adjustment process, prevent the support rollers from tilting in different directions.
Industrial dryers are reliable, flexible, adaptable, and have a high processing capacity. They are widely used in the chemical, metallurgical, building materials, and light manufacturing industries. Properly adjusting the support rollers improves drying efficiency and quality, and is a common method for optimizing work efficiency. This also significantly promotes dryer development, continuously improving their performance and structure, and generating greater benefits.
