Operating characteristics of LCH-X type flotation machine
Although research on flotation machines started relatively late in my country, with the increasing demand for mineral resources in recent years due to social development, the research field of flotation machines has become very popular, with increasingly specialized branches and a wider variety of types. The machines are also becoming more targeted at mineral processing.

The LCH-X flotation machine is a newly launched product in my country’s mineral processing equipment field. Its key feature is a novel double-sided impeller with two impeller chambers, isolated from the main shaft components. The machine operates by introducing air between the main shaft and the central cylinder. Part of the air is drawn into the upper impeller chamber, while the other part is drawn into the lower impeller chamber through trapezoidal holes. This bidirectional air intake, occurring simultaneously in both impeller chambers, increases the pulp circulation. During operation, the machine can simultaneously perform bidirectional air intake and circulation. The stator blades of the flotation machine consist of two sections. Their design features include: one section rotating in the direction of the impeller to form a 4-degree angle with the radial direction, while the other section is arranged radially relative to the impeller. This stator blade design allows the dispersed air bubbles, along with the pulp, to flow out of the stator along with the pulp and enter the turbulent zone of the flotation cell along a near-radial path, overcoming the pulp swirling phenomenon.
This flotation machine successfully solved the problem of slurry sloshing inside the machine, improving beneficiation efficiency and the grade of the beneficiated product, and has been widely used in beneficiation plants.
