Grinding mills help utilize scarce fluorite mineral resources
Fluorite is a mineral resource, with reserves in my country estimated at around 110 million tons, a very considerable amount. The main component of fluorite is calcium fluoride. Because fluorite is a non-renewable resource, China currently adheres to a rational approach to its mining to ensure better utilization of this resource.
Fluorite, also known as fluorspar, is a material used in the manufacture of optical glass for lenses. Fluorochemical materials are important raw materials and auxiliary materials in industries such as machinery, electronics, metallurgy, and aerospace. Fluorite has low hardness and is brittle. my country is a major producer of fluorite, with deposits in Zhejiang, Hunan, and Fujian provinces.

Xinshengrun series industrial grinding mills, jaw crushers, and other equipment can be used to process fluorite resources. One processing technology for fluorite ore is beneficiation – crushing – formulation – mixing – sintering. Fluorite decalcification beneficiation has the advantages of high decalcification efficiency, simple process, and low cost, and can extract high-grade fluorite concentrate with very low calcium carbonate content from high-calcium fluorite ore.
In the aluminum industry, hydrofluoric acid is used to produce aluminum fluoride, synthetic cryolite, sodium fluoride, and magnesium fluoride. In the aerospace industry, hydrofluoric acid is mainly used to produce liquid propellants for jet engines and missile jet fuel propellants. In the nuclear energy industry, hydrofluoric acid is mainly used to produce UF4, which is then fluorinated to produce UF6. 235U is then separated using gas diffusion or gas centrifugation. In the pharmaceutical field, fluorinated organic compounds can also be used to manufacture fluorinated anticancer drugs, fluorinated cortisone, and fluorocarbon-based artificial blood.

By the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the output value of my country’s fluorochemical industry will reach 150 billion yuan, approximately five times that of 2009 and three times that of 2010. The general framework for the integration of fluorite resources has been established, and substantial progress will be made in this integration next year.
