The WF-water-flushing cone crusher is a large-scale ultrafine crushing equipment for mining, successfully developed by an American company after years of research. This equipment has been put into use in many mineral processing plants abroad, and has received positive feedback due to its good performance. Its advantages in crushing ore in metal mines include a small discharge particle size, down to 8mm, and the elimination of the “cushioning effect” between fine particles due to water-flushing, thus greatly reducing the energy consumption of the equipment during crushing. In the early 1990s, Chinese mineral processing plants also introduced this series of crushing equipment for use in mining crushing processes. This equipment has a processing capacity of up to 150t/h and a feed particle size of 76mm. The products crushed by this equipment provide a stable and ideal feed guarantee for the next stage ball mill. Furthermore, pre-screening can be performed before feeding into the ball mill, effectively preventing over-crushing. Because water is added during the crushing process, the crushed product is free of mud and has few impurities. However, the WF water-flushing cone crusher has very strict requirements for the water addition process and requires a high level of professional knowledge from the operator, which can cause many inconveniences to the on-site operation.

Because this equipment was imported from abroad, it is expensive, increasing the investment costs for mineral processing plants. To save on investment costs, Xinshengrun conducted extensive research and observation on this equipment, concluding that its principle is similar to that of a conventional cone crusher, but with more sophisticated design and improvements in the water-based crushing process and the larger scale of the equipment. The fineness of the discharged particle size is achieved through the precision manufacturing of the equipment. Xinshengrun will combine this with my country’s mineral processing methods to make a series of improvements and studies on the imported WF water-jetting cone crusher, adding another economical and practical piece of equipment to my country’s crushing industry.
