Precise installation of vertical mills: From 0.1mm verticality to high-temperature seals, every detail is crucial for efficiency and safety. Professional hoisting, laser alignment, and pipe sealing are all essential to ensure silky-smooth operation.

Key steps in the installation process

● Equipment hoisting and positioning:

○ Use professional lifting equipment and it is strictly forbidden to use wire ropes to directly bind grinding rollers, transmission shafts and other precision parts.

○ When positioning the main machine, ensure that the verticality error of the machine body is ≤0.1mm/m and the horizontality error is ≤0.2mm/m.

● Component assembly and adjustment:

○ Installation of grinding disc and grinding roller: Check the flatness of the grinding disc and adjust the gap between the grinding roller and the grinding disc according to the manufacturer’s requirements (usually 0.5-1mm) to avoid contact stress concentration.

○ Transmission system alignment: The alignment error between the reducer and the motor coupling is ≤0.05mm, and is calibrated using a laser alignment instrument.

○ Sealing device installation: High temperature resistant and wear resistant sealing materials should be used for grinding roller seals and pipe interfaces to prevent powder leakage.

● Pipeline connection and sealing:

○ Material conveying pipes and dust removal pipes must be well sealed, and sealing gaskets must be used at flange connections to prevent dust leakage.

○ When arranging pipes, try to shorten the path, reduce the number of elbows, and lower the system resistance.

Safety precautions

● Wear a safety helmet, protective gloves, etc. during the installation process, and use a safety belt when working at height.

● A cordon is set up in the lifting area and non-professionals are prohibited from entering.

● Electrical wiring must be performed by a certified electrician to ensure reliable grounding and prevent the risk of leakage.
